July 14, 2025, marks a meaningful step forward in the nation’s commitment to healthier buildings and cleaner indoor air.
ASHRAE Philippines proudly took part in the Stakeholder Focus Group Discussion on Setting Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Standards in the Philippines, bringing global technical leadership to the national conversation.
Representing our chapter were:

Ms. Mildred Tuazon, Government Affairs Chairwoman
This gathering of experts, policymakers, and professionals is not just a dialogue—it’s the beginning of a nationwide movement to build safer, healthier, and more sustainable indoor environments for every Filipino.
As advocates of science-based standards and engineering excellence, ASHRAE Philippines reaffirms its dedication to supporting the development of indoor air quality policies grounded in research, innovation, and global best practices.
We thank the Department of Occupation Labor and Employment (DOLE), Occupational Safety and Health Center (OSHC), and all involved agencies for the invitation and collaboration. Together, we envision a future where every indoor space supports the well-being and productivity of its occupants.
This is more than just a meeting. It is a shared commitment to breathe better, live better, and build a resilient nation.
